THE COLLABORATION

A dialogue between
places, cultures & eras.

Materia | Of Fact brings together interior design and strategic partnership, connecting Florence, Italy, with Wimberley, Texas, and the surrounding Hill Country.

The creative foundation is Erin Quinlan Quiros’s 25 years of design experience: interiors shaped by cultural heritage, considered acquisitions and the relationship between a home and its landscape.

OUR APPROACH

From the larger vision
to the smallest detail.

01

Space & proportion

A thoughtful starting point: how a room flows, how light moves through it, and how it feels to live within it.

02

Material & character

Stone, wood, textiles and objects selected for their texture, individuality and the dialogue between them.

03

The complete picture

Furniture, lighting and finishing layers brought together as a coherent interior, with space for personality.

Creative Direction, Materia | Of Fact

Erin Quinlan Quiros is the founder and principal of EQQ Design and the creative force behind Materia | Of Fact, a new collaboration connecting Florence, Italy, and the Texas Hill Country.

Her approach has been shaped by nearly three decades of life and work in Europe, a deep connection to Texas, and Mexican cultural roots. Her interiors feel collected, personal and inseparable from their setting, combining European design knowledge and sourcing with bespoke craftsmanship, natural materials and a thoughtful dialogue between architecture and landscape.

Building on the experience and portfolio of EQQ Design, Materia | Of Fact brings this approach to high-end residential and hospitality projects—from country estates, ranches and waterfront homes to urban residences and boutique destinations. The studio collaborates with clients, architects, builders and developers from the earliest design stages through sourcing, procurement and final installation.
